In League of Legends, a new champion has come out called Vel’Koz: The Eye of the Void. He is a creature from the Void and craves knowledge.
His passive is Organic Deconstruction: after hitting his enemy three times, the target ‘deconstructs’ and takes bonus true damage. The stacks of this passive wear off after avoiding Vel’Koz’s attacks for a short while.
Vel’Koz’s Q is Plasma Fission: Vel’Koz fires a plasma bolt and after hitting it’s target, it splits into two different directions, slowing enemies in it’s path. His Q is useful to hit champions around their minions.
Vel’Koz’s W is Void Rift: Vel’Koz opens a temporary rift to the Void in a straight line before it explodes. The first tear and the explosion do damage and this ability has no cast time.
Vel’Koz’s E is Tectonic Disruption: After a few seconds of cast time, Vel’Koz does damage in a small area and knocks enemies into the air as well as knocking them back. A useful combo is to use his E then right after, use his W. The enemies will be unable to dodge his W because of his E.
Vel’Koz’s Ultimate is Life Form Disintegration ray: Vel’Koz channels a ray of energy that can be aimed for a short while. This damages, slows, and stacks his passive on minions, champions, and neutral monsters.
Vel’Koz is a Mid Lane champion that focuses on AP (Ability Power). He stays back in fights using his long range abilities to his advantage. Overall, I think Vel’Koz is a great champion to assist fights and hold out a lane. He can damage enemies without directly aiming at them, and do extra damage by just attacking for a short while.
